Chicago White Sox Tickets And A Day At U.s. Cellular Field
Thursday, June 3, 2010

In the great American past time sport, many teams have had their fair share of ups in downs throughout its history and the Chicago White Sox are no strangers to any of it. The Chicago White Sox, aptly name after the players white stockings worn in the game, came into the Major League ready & raring to go as Western League champions. It made them a force to be reckoned with. Their good pitching collective helped them to top out at 83-53 as first place champs in the American League in 1901. The following year would prove to be not their best as they slid into fourth place and then again plummeting further down to seventh in 1903.
As the years rolled by and the team name was chopped to White Sox and the team would go on to rise again to gain the coveted third place slot. During 1905-06 though their team's pitchers remained strong in the effort to hold hitters at bay in the American League it wouldn't help them get to the World Series as the Philadelphia Athletics knock them into second place with two games behind. On top of this they picked up an unsavory nickname by local newspapers, "The Hitless Wonders" with just seven seasonal home runs. Despite this their pitching game continued to dominate and earned them a Pennant and while gaining a trip to their first ever World Series, all the failure & triumph would be over-shadowed on account of Chicago's other team, The Chicago Cubs having a great regular season that ultimately brought them also to the Series that would start a inner city rivalry that continues to be played out within the regular season from 1906 until today.
In this first cross town World Series pitting the Southside against the Westside, it was a site to behold as both Chi-town teams battled it out. Traveling back in forth from stadium to stadium until the underdog team of the White Sox eventually won the series; scoring 8-3 and securing 4 games to the Cub's 2. The history books hold the accounts but the action experienced is still alive today.
More twist in turns would come and go in the life of this hitless team many years down the line, including the new stadium, the Sox and New York Giants European tour attend by the British Royal Family in 1913, the contract purchasing of Shoeless Joe Jackson and the 1931 death of the teams owner Charles Comiskey. In 1933 with Chicago hosting the World's Fair that year, it also gave birth to the All-Star game concept where Babe Ruth clocked the only home run thus become a annual event as league battled league. In 2008, the Sox returned to the World Series some 88years later, beating the Los Angeles Angels.
U.S. Cellular Field has been home to the Sox since opening in 1991. Formerly known as Comiskey Park, it is affectionately sometimes referred to as "The Cell". Located at 333 West 35th Street in Chicago, Illinois, the surface is Bluegrass and the venue is currently owned by the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority. Renovations over the years of 2001 to 2006 have increased seating capacity to 47,609; also the record attendance set on July 15, 2003 at the 74th All Star Game.
The bronze statues of Luis Aparicio and Nellie Fox welcome fans to this fantastic venue. Other attractions include the fan deck that offers a double tiered view of the field and convenient access to concessions and other amenities. A rain room, patio, sports bar, t-shirt shop, United Scout seats, Comcast Fundamental deck and the Chicagoland plumbing council shower are just some of the features that keep fans coming back to U.S. Cellular Field time and again to enjoy games that the Chicago White Sox play.
Chicago White Sox tickets are a snap when you use Ticket America. U.S. Cellular Field has been renovated and upgraded to provide an excellent ball game experience for virtually any budget and seating preference.

Toronto Blue Jays Tickets For A Day At Rogers Centre
Friday, May 14, 2010

The Toronto Blue Jays have been affiliated with the American League and East Division since their formation in 1977. Originally as an expansion franchise, they have been nicknamed "The Jays" but take their actual name from the bird who shares the same. The blue jay is colorfully featured as part of their jersey and cap logo with the team colors of blue, black, graphite, silver, white and red. Another nickname the team has been known for is "Blue Birds". As the only team outside the U.S. that has ever won an American League World Series, the Toronto Blue Jays got off to a decent start in 1977 with their first game played against the Chicago White Sox. A home crowd of nearly 45,000 was present to cheer the players on. This first game is most memorable for the snowstorm that had started just before the game began.
The snow didn't stop the team from winning that opening game with two home runs by player Doug Ault. The Toronto Blue Jays went on to win 53 more games in the 1977 season but finished in the very last place of the East Division of the American League. The next year, the team improved their record but still could not pull themselves up out of last place in the AL rankings. As the 70s rounded to a close, Alfredo Griffin became the AL co-Rookie of the year in 1979 and the team introduced their original mascot, BJ Birdie, to the world.
In the 80's, Bobby Cox came on board as the new manager and in 1982, they Toronto Blue Jays finished the season 78-84. It appeared the finish last tendencies had been put to sleep as the team finished 89-73 in 1984. That same year, Tony Fernandez was brought on board after Griffin was traded to the Oakland Athletics. The next year, the Toronto Blue Jays won their first AL East Division title. By the 90s, the Blue Jays were the first Major League ball club to have more than 4 million fans attend their games in just one season.
The 90s also represented the time when the Blue Jays added another AL East Division title to their growing list of accomplishments. It was all the historic point where the Blue Jays came head to head with the Atlanta Braves in the World Series. Back to back in 1992 and 1993, the Blue Jays took home the much sought after and well deserved World Series title. The team has not brought home any pennants or titles since those fortunate seasons of the 90s but with new management under Alex Anthopoulos and changes made in the dugout as well as on the field, the upcoming season should be a fascinating one to say the least.
All of the home games ahead will be played at Rogers Centre located at One Blue Jays Way in Toronto, Ontario. Since June, 1989, this venue has been where the Blue Jays have entertained the competition to create a name for the team. Originally named SkyDome from 1989 to 2005, Rogers Centre started out with AstroTurf for the field surface through 2004 but switched to FieldTurf until this year when AstroTurf GameDay Grass 3D was put into place for the 2010 season.
Rogers Centre has expansive capacity for baseball games with seating choices for 49,539 seats which doesn't include the 3,434 private box seats available. Both the Toronto Blue Jays and the Toronto Argonauts have been tenants in Rogers Centre since its opening in 1989. Other tenants have included the Toronto Raptors. The rename of the venue came when Rogers Communication purchased the trouble stadium and renamed it to the current name.
Let Ticket America put you close to the action with Toronto Blue Jays tickets. Rogers Centre is a spacious, luxury venue that provides great sites from many locations around the stadium.

Tampa Bay Devil Rays Tickets And A Day At Tropicana Field
Thursday, May 13, 2010

Think you know all there is to know about the Tampa Bay Devil Rays? Well, you may be surprised to learn that although this team has only been around since the late 90s they have made sure to work diligently at starting to carve out a niche for their franchise. Established in 1998, the Tampa Bay Devil Rays held the name until 2008, at which time their name was changed to Tampa Bay Rays. Team colors are navy blue, Columbia blue, white and gold. Known affectionately as "The Rays", the Tampa Bay Rays were awarded inclusion into the minor leagues back in 1995 when they tapped Chuck LaMar as their assistant general manager. A year later, the team was playing their first minor league game in the 1996 season.
The following year, for the expansion draft held in November, 1997, the Tampa Bay Rays acquired 35 new players. More players were added to the team in the years to come, like Kevin Stocker, who was traded to the Philadelphia Phillies nearly as quickly as he was acquired. The next year, their first game in March, 1998 was against the Detroit Tigers. The crowd was a sizeable 45,369 and Wade Boggs made the first home run in the team's history. They didn't win the open header but the season went well that year and the Tampa Bay Devil Rays went on a 19-game winning streak before suffering nearly 100 losses that same year.
Some other great names associated with this team include Randy Winn, Jose Canseco, Greg Vaughn, Miguel Cairo and Vinny Castilla. Boggs is the only member of the team whose number has been retired to date and it came as no surprise. In 1999, Boggs racked up his 300th hit on a home run. He is the only member of the Tampa Bay Devil Rays to ever do so. Boggs was later also inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in the year 2005.
The 2004 season was the best finish for the team ever with a record of 70-91. Front office and management changes in the time frame after the 2005 season ended brought new blood in. Chuck LaMar was fired and the focus turned to the younger players like Carl Crawford, Jorge Cantu and Rocco Baldelli. Many trades would come next as the team changed hands with their leaders. Outfielders, infielders, shortstops and utility players alike were put on the block and traded to other teams in exchange for perceivably better players.
Although the team was subsequently involved in two rare triple plays in the 2006, they did end the season with a winning record at home of 41-40. It was the first time the team accomplished such a feat and it resulted in an increase in home attendance.
Tropicana Field, located at One Tropicana Drive in St. Petersburg, Florida has been the home of the Rays since it's opening in 1990. Prior to that, the venue was known by the names of the Florida Suncoast Dome from 1990 to 1993 and the Thunderdome from 1993 to 1996. Astro turf was the original playing surface but the field currently surfaced with FieldTurf and has a dirt infield. Seating capacity in 1998 was 45,369 but with upgrades to seating, added amenities and refashioned concessions, was changed to 43,772; a total that does not include the tarp covered seats.
Tropicana Field has been home to other Tampa teams including the Tampa Bay Storm and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Ironically enough, when the stadium was finished, it did not have any tenants. It wasn't until 1993 that the NHL Tampa Bay Lightning came along and later in 1995 before the Tampa Bay Rays moved in.
Ticket America can help you land the best seats in the house with Tampa Bay Devil Rays tickets for some of the hottest games coming up this season. Experiencing Tropicana Field in person makes every game lively and intense and Ticket America can take you there.

The team was officially renamed to the New York Yankees in 1913. At the start, the team's home games were held at Oriole Park. From 1913 to 1922, the home games were held at the Polo Grounds, which were also known as Brush Stadium. For one year, from 1974 to 1975, the New York Yankees played at Shea Stadium.

The current stadium cost $1.5 billion to construct and is a state of the art facility that has a seating capacity of 50,086 that expands to 52,325 with stand room only options included for concerts and similar venues.

Boston Red Sox Tickets And A Day At Fenway Park
Sunday, May 2, 2010

The history of the Boston Red Sox has a long tail that spans back over a significant length of time. Whether you are a new fan to this exciting franchise or you have followed the team through a lifelong passion for their playing style and ability to win under a number of challenges and circumstances, there is no question that the Boston Red Sox have held the distinction of being a force to be reckoned with and continue to demonstrate the type of talent and sportsmanship that makes the game of baseball a pleasure to enjoy.
When you go back to the very beginning of the start of this time, no historic recollection is complete without starting at the very start of things for the Boston Red Sox. Founded in 1901 with the name Boston Americans, the team began as one of the original eight franchises that formed the American League. Just 2 years later, the Red Sox took home their first World Series win in 1903. They would retain the Boston Americans name until 1908, at which time they became known as the Boston Red Sox. By 1918, this determined team had won an additional four World Series championships. Unfortunately, the last win was the start of a dry spell that did not end until 2004 when the Red Sox scored their sixth championship.
Known by the nicknames "The Sox", "The Olde Town Team", "The BoSox" and "The Nation", the Boston Red Sox have had more wins during the decade spanning to the end of 2009 and more playoff berths than any other season in the history of the team. In additional to seven World Series titles in 1903, 1912, 1915, 1916, 1918 2004 and 2007, the Boston Red Sox have won quite a few other major league titles. With 12 AL Pennants, 6 East Division titles and 7 Wild Card Berths, there is no argument that the Boston Red Sox. Home games were played at the Huntington Avenue Grounds.
Although the Boston Red Sox started off on a winning streak, in 1906, they lost 100 games and the name change was the impetus needed to improve the standings and team morale. There is seldom mention of baseball greats without a reference to Babe Ruth, one of the greatest players. Although Babe Ruth created a great history for the Boston Red Sox, in 1919 Harry Frazee sold Babe Ruth to their competitors, the New York Yankees. Ruth had just broke the home run record for a single season by hitting 29 home runs that year.
The years that followed were something of a rollercoaster for the Boston Red Sox who reached the finals many times but were often offset at the series finals. In the 60's, Tony Conigliaro became the youngest Red Sox member as well as the youngest player in the league to bat out 24 home runs in a season.
Fenway Park, located at 4 Yawkey Way in Boston, Massachusetts , has been the home of the Boston Red Sox since 1912. Owned by New England Sports Ventures/Boston Red Sox, the playing surface is natural grass. Seating has increased from its original 35,000 in 1912 to 37,402 in 2010 for night games and 36,974 for games during the day. Other teams that have shared Fenway Park with the Boston Red Sox in the past include the Boston Braves, Bulldogs, Redskins, Shamrocks, Yanks, and Beacons.
Fenway Park has been through many upgrades and renovations with modernizations such as seat replacements, added suites, new sod and much more. Fans can chose from many seating configurations including standing room only tickets to concerts and other exciting venues.

Baltimore Orioles Tickets For A Day At Camden Yards
Saturday, May 1, 2010
The Baltimore Orioles have a longstanding and interesting history to their credit. The original team was named the Milwaukee Brewers and was a part of the Western League in 1894. In 1900, when the Western League was renamed to the American League, the Brewers were still around. The first American League season was the next year in 1901 and it was the only season that the team would play under the Brewers name and at the Lloyd Street Grounds located in Milwaukee between 16th Street and 18 Street. The following year, the team relocated to St. Louis and made a name change to the St. Louis Browns. With four winning seasons from 1902 to 1922, the Browns were not rated as one of the top baseball teams but they kept at it.
The Browns built a new park, Sportman's Park and in 1909, rebuilt the park. It was only the third of its kind in the major leagues to be reconstructed with concrete and steel. The year 1910 was a fantastic pursuit of the American League batting title. In the end, Ty Cobb would walk away with the honor but not without much ado that Nap Lajoie should have received the title instead. When all was said and done, several coaches were permanently informally banned from the league for some of their actions.
The legacy of the Browns was to reach a definite end, at least as far as the name goes and so the St. Louis Browns became the Baltimore Orioles in the late 1950's and began to create a distinction for the Orioles by distancing themselves from the former name. Perhaps most notably in December, 1954 when the Orioles traded a whopping 17 players at one time! The last ties to the Browns name and era came in August, 1979 when Edward Bennett Williams bought back 20,000 shares of the franchise's stock that had been sold by the Browns at $5 per share.
The tendency towards losing would be a bit harder to shake for the Orioles. A joke coined for their losing streaks was "First in shoes, first in booze and last in the American League". During the late 1950's, however, newly hired manager Paul Richards coached the Orioles along the way to landing fifth place in the standings in 1957 with a record of 76-76. Richards is also credited with discover Orioles talents like Steve Barber, Jerry Adair and Ron Hansen who became Rookie of the Year in 1960. From around 1966 to the early 1980's were regarded as the glory years for the Orioles and Cal Ripken Sr.'s "perfect practice makes perfect" was developed as an organization wide ethic. Final seasons at Memorial Stadium were concluded in 1991, making way for the Orioles to take their game to a new level and a new location.
Oriole Park at Camden Yards opened in 1992 and became an overnight success with players, coaches, staff and fans alike. This retro-designed ballpark was the pioneer that many other parks would follow suit with in their designs as well. Although the Orioles only finished in third place in their first two seasons, it was no reflection on Camden Yards. Located on West Camden Street in Baltimore, Maryland, Camden Yards has a seating capacity of 48,876 with Kentucky Blue Grass for the playing surface and has been home to the Baltimore Orioles since 1992.
The 50 millionth fan entered Camden Yards on August 19, 2008, setting a milestone for the Orioles in a mere 17 seasons. Some recent memorable games played in Camden Yards include June 30, 2009 when the team scored 10 runs in a game against the Red Sox.
Ticket America has your best seats in a variety of choices with Baltimore Orioles Tickets. Orioles games at home are a pleasure in the spacious Camden Yards.

Lsu Tigers Men's Basketball Tickets And Seating Chart
Sunday, March 14, 2010
It's been a great new experience for the men's basketball team at LSU. Although the entire facility will not be complete until sometime in 2010, the LSU Tigers were excited to practice in their own brand new facility recently. When the construction is complete, there will be a new media room, new team dressing room, equipment facilities, training facilities and two practice gyms; the latter of which has already been finished and made available to the players recently. Although the LSU Tigers were not the first to use the new facilities (the women's basketball team used them the previous weekend), they made good use of the 11,324 square foot gym which is an exact replica of the Maravich Center competition court.
Fans, coaches, staff and team members are optimistic that the new gyms will allow the team to create more focus and concentration on their game skills and build a longer repertoire of wins. Thus far, the LSU Tigers have won games against UL-Monroe, Indiana State, Western Kentucky and UL-Lafayette. Perhaps there's no connection whatsoever, but all of the winning games have been played at the Maravich Center. By contrast, the two away games in the season tip-off against Connecticut and Arizona State were losses for the LSU Tigers. Connecticut beat the Tigers 81-55 and Arizona State dusted the LSU Tigers 71-52.
With plenty of games ahead in the 2009-2010 season and quite a few of the games scheduled at home, there are plenty of opportunities for the LSU Tigers to make this their best season ever. Once finals are complete, the LSU Tigers will return to the court for December games against Northwestern State, Southeastern Louisiana, Nicholls and Rice. The start of the Cougar Hardwood Classic marks the rest of the games in December for the LSU Tigers with games against Washington State and Xavier (Ohio).
Recognized officially as the Pete Maravich Assembly Center at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, it takes its name from Peter Press Maravich (23), all-century team member whose list of accomplishments for the LSU Tigers stretches a mile long but whose life ended suddenly in 1988. Affectionately referred to by most as simply Maravich Center, this two-level facility has been the home to many great games played by the LSU Tigers men's basketball team.
The upper level has sections 304 through 337 designated as the student section. Sections 202, 203, 102, 103 and part of 104 are also set aside for students. So, when making your seating selections, be sure to keep this in mind. Ample seating throughout the rest of the entire venue offer excellent sites from every seat. Maravich Center is a spacious venue that takes every seat to the game for an experience watching the LSU Tigers heat up the court. If you haven't take advantage of the opportunity to experience the LSU Tigers in motion, you owe it to yourself to get tickets to some of these great games held at Maravich Center.
As the LSU Tigers move into the season, there are 13 games scheduled at the Maravich Center and whether you want to attend all of these games or just a chosen one or two, there's no question that great seats are still available to see the LSU Tigers take on opponents like Utah, Alabama, Florida, Auburn, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Kentucky, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State, South Carolina, Georgia and McNeese State.
Now is the perfect time to score group seating in your ideal location and ensure that you don't miss one single moment of the action as the LSU Tigers prepare to hit the new gym in practice and hone their skills for the upcoming games.

New York Jets Tickets And Seating Chart
The New York Jets took home a win against the Buffalo Bills recently with a final score 19-13. They'll be taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on December 13 and fans are optimistic that this will be another win for the New York Jets. The preseason was good to the New York Jets as they won games against New York (27-25) and Philadelphia (38-27). Critics may argue that on the flip side of their preseason games, the New York Jets also lost two games against St. Louis (20-23) and Baltimore (23-24); the latter of which was a very close game for both teams but not close enough for the Jets to take home the victory.
The regular season has been even more fascinating for the New York Jets from the start of the season with a win against Houston (24-7) to their last two winning games against Buffalo and Carolina (17-6). Remaining games for the regular season should be relatively interesting, to say the least with opponents like Atlanta, Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Tampa Bay left to play. As the remaining games approach, the New York Jets will be taking the field without injured players Robert Turner (knee), Donald Strickland (concussion) and Dwight Lowery (ankle) who will definitely not play the rest of the season.
Also on the injured roster but a probable to play are members Eric Smith (back), Calvin pace (shoulder), Jim Leonhard (thumb), Mark Sanchez (knee), D'Brickashaw Ferguson (hamstring) and Shaun Ellis (knee). Fans may be most anxious to see Ellis (92) return to the field but are looking forward to seeing all able players display their respective talents in the game rather than on the bench.
Located at State Route 120 and State Route 3 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, Giants Stadium is a part of the Meadowlands Sports Complex that is owned and operated by the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. It is the third largest NFL complex in the country but also the ninth-oldest still in use. As a result, those who wish to experience Giants Stadium should plan to get tickets right away as the days of this venue are numbered and its demolition is planned for 2010 when a new Meadowlands Stadium will be opened.
Seating options at Giants Stadium, which is home to the New York Giants, New York Jets and New York Red Bulls, includes four different level options: Lower, Mezzanine, Upper Center and Upper Endzone. Gates A, B, C, D and the Stadium Club Entrance provide easy entrance from all sides to put you closer to your selected seating. Current seating capacity is 80,200; more than enough seating with excellent sites to please even the most discriminating fan with the perfect location.
Tailgating options are available for those who choose to get the party started in the parking lot before the game. Parking lots at Giants Stadium are open five hours prior to kickoff. For many fans, the tailgating experience is a tradition that is a must. Although open parking spaces should not be used to tailgate nor is tailgating permitted in the parking garage, it is still possible to throw the best tailgate parties in the world before the New York Jets hit the field to play.
Individual, half-season and season tickets are just a few of the choices available when it comes to attending a New York Jets home game. So whether you want to hang out in the Terrace Suites or nestle in close to the front row club seating, the choice is yours. With a limited number of games left to be played in the existing Giants Stadium, there's never been a better time to get to one or more of the New York Jets games.
Ticket America has your New York Jets Tickets for all of the upcoming games. The existing Giants Stadiumwill be demolished in 2010, so its a great time to get seats before this historic venue is torn down!

World Wresting Entertainment (WWE) is a simulated sport that's as real as it gets for many fans, who swear by the various wrestlers who participate in Raw, SmackDown, WWE Superstars Divas, WrestleMania, ECW and Hell in a Cell. The WWE community has been stunned and saddened by the recent death of Edward "Umaga" Fatu who died of a heart attack at the age of 36.
Founded in 1952, WWE was started by Roderick McMahon and Toots Mondt. Currently, Vince McMahon is the Chairman and CEO with family members Shane McMahon, Stephanie McMahon and Linda McMahon helping to run the show from every aspect of global media to creative development. WWE may seem like a lot of theatrics and loud talking but WWE represents the industry leaders when it comes to professional wrestling and sports entertainment with more than 560 employees (not including wrestlers) and revenue that exceeded $526 million dollars in 2008.
You may remember the fantastic publicity that Vince McMahon gained during the Monday night wrestling promotions where one person was the lucky recipient of a million dollars each week. Rating soared through the roof as eagerly anticipating fans and contest participants waited to see if they would be the winner of the million dollars. The WWE televised events are not the only way that you can get your major enjoyment from their particular brand of professional wrestling. There are many Internet and live investment as well as film, music and direct sales that take WWE to the next level.
No fan will argue to the contrary, however, that the best way to enjoy WWE is to get to see it live. Although it is a simulated sport, it is precisely this smack talking and antics in and around the ring that drives fans crazy and keeps them coming back for more time and again. From pay per view events where crowds pack venues and sell out tickets months before the actual event comes to town.
Many fans and wrestlers themselves will tell you that it is the extra action-packed confrontational style that adds more than a little umph to each performance where wrestlers are decked out in colorful, tight fitting costumes that show off every muscle. People of all ages gather at WWE events because they combine a talented and unique collection of theater, acting and wrestling. There's no question that it requires knowledge of how to complete dives, jumps and throws but fans are often treated to action that goes outside the ring and includes eye popping visuals such as chair banging, window crashing and much more. And the good news is that no matter who gets hurt and how on national television, it's all a part of the act that's designed for your viewing enjoyment.
When WWE was first started, it was known as Capitol Wrestling Corporation. It was a different world when athletes took to the ring in locations like Madison Square Garden. Around 1963, the name was changed to the World Wide Wrestling Federation but this name would be changed again around 1979 when the organization became known as the World Wrestling Federation. At this time, Vince McMahon came on board and wrestling greats like Roddy Piper, Jesse Ventura, Andre the Giant, Iron Sheik, Ricky Steamboat and Hulk Hogan along with the idea of Wrestlemania took this particular brand of wrestling to a new level. In 2002, the current WWE name was adopted where there was some dispute about WWF, which is also used by an environmental organization that sued.
If you haven't had the pleasure of experiencing WWE in person, you owe it to yourself to get tickets to one or more of these fantastic performances and experience what makes the crowds scream with delight as the professional wrestlers take it to the ring.
This is the heart pounding action that no other Sport compares to! Ticket America has your up close and personal WWE Tickets on sale now! Also check out their sports tickets.

If you're a golf enthusiast, chances are you took to the television religiously this past October to watch the Presidents Cup 2009 on the screen. Perhaps you were fortunate enough to have golf tickets to witness the entire competition. If so you had complete opportunities to witness the sport of golfing at its finest. If you did not, let's start with the Presidents Cup 2009 Team U.S.A. Although the current limelight on team member Tiger Woods is less than favorable with his personal problems, there is no question that as a part of the team, he was a most valuable player and one of only 2 team members who has competed in the Presidents Cup five previous times.
On hand were team captain Fred Couples, assistant captain Jay Haas and team members Woods, Phil Mickelson, Steve Stricker, Kenny Perry, Zach Johnson, Stewart Cink, Sean O'Hair, Jim Furyk, Anthony Kim, Justin Leonard, Lucas Glover and Hunter Mahan. The Presidents Cup 2009 International Team included captain Greg Norman, assistant captain Frank Nobilo and team members Geoff Ogilvy, Vijay Singh, Camilo Villegas, Retief Goosen, Ernie Els, Angel Cabrera, Mike Weir, Robert Allenby, Y.E. Yang, Tim Clark, Ryo Ishikawa and Adam Scott. Veteran golfer Singh brought participation experience with the Presidents Cup for seven previous years.
The Thursday Foursomes took to the greens with Kim/Mickelson versus Weir/Clark in Match 1, Mahan/O'Hair versus Scott/Els in Match 2, Glover/Cink versus Singy/Allenby in Match 3, Perry/Johnson versus Cabrera/Villegas in Match 4, Woods/Stricker versus Ogilvy/Ishikawa in Match 5 and Furyk/Leonard versus Goosen/Yang in Match 6. Match 7 through Match 12 was the Friday Four-Ball games and at the end of the day the U.S. Team led the way with 19-1/2 points. The Saturday Foursomes were held for Match 13 through Match 17. Also on Saturday Four-Ball games for matches through Match 22 were held.
The Sunday Singles pitted the skills of Mahan versus Villegas, Cink versus Scott, Leonard versus Weir, Kim versus Allenby, Stricker versus Ogilvy, O'Hair versus Els, Perry versus Ishikawa, Johnson versus Clark, Woods versus Yang, Glover versus Singh, Mickelson versus Goosen and Furyk versus Cabrera. At the end of the day, Woods lead the U.S. Team individual player's scores by finishing off a perfect week. Close behind Woods with just one loss on the Four-Ball and one loss in the Foursomes was International team player Ogilvy.
Harding Park was the chosen location for the 2009 Presidents Cup games. Captain's picks for the U.S. Team were Glover and Mahan. Captain's picks for the International Team were Scott and Ishikawa. Plans have already been made for the 2011 Presidents Cup games, to be held at the Royal Melbourne Golf Club in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. As for the 2009 Harding Park games, players and fans alike whom were on hand were treated to the best golfing on greens that are regarded by many as San Francisco's finest.
Celebrity coach Michael Jordan was present to receive a standing ovation from the U.S. team at the closing ceremonies. Jordan gave an inspirational speech on Saturday night about teamwork in reference to the U.S. team's ability to win six matches outright and score seven points in the Singles. Of some of the "Best" recognitions were Ishikawa for best rookie. Ishikawa, who just turned 18, showed no fear against seasoned players like Perry, who is 49.
Woods and Stricker were voted best partners and received best match recognition for Woods' 23-foot birdie on the 17th hole against Weir and Clark. Woods was also acknowledged for best shot for his second shot in Saturday's Foursomes at the 18th hole par-5 when he landed nine feet for a conceded eagle more than 230 yards out.

Ticket America Has Your Kings Of Leon Tickets!
Sunday, February 28, 2010
This American rock band got its start in 1999 in Nashville , Tennessee and is perhaps one of the only all boy, all brothers bands (we won't name one of the others) in the country and around the world. Not that the concept of all brothers and all boys is new because it isn't but Kings of Leon isn't your everyday white boy band, not by a long shot. Brothers Anthony Followill, Ivan Followill, Michael Followill and cousin Cameron Followill are the members of Kings of Leon. If those names don't sound familiar, it's because all of the members use their middle names on stage so you may know them as Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew.
At the start, Kings of Leon was most recognized for their southern rock infused blues musical sound that had an upbeat tone to it. Over time, however Kings of Leon has continued to expand their signature sound to include a host of different genres. The result has been a more alternative sound that's recognized as alternative rock, southern rock or garage rock revival in various circles of fans of this kind of music.
With a Pentecostal background, for many it didn't come as a surprise that their first record was entitled Holy Roller Novocaine EP, released in February, 2003. It was the precursor to their debut album Youth and Young Manhood, which received a 4 out of 5 star rating from Rolling Stone magazine. Their second album Aha Shake Heartbreak was released in the U.S. in 2005 and featured hits like The Bucket, King of the Rodeo and Four Kicks. Fame wasn't a stranger to Kings of Leon as they released their third album Because of the Times. Taper Jean Girl was tapped to be in the movies Disturbia and Cloverfield, adding more appreciation for Kings of Leon and their signature sounds and foot-stomping beats.
Holding four Grammy nominations on the table for Kings of Leon now and their recent release of Live at the O2: London, there's plenty of buzz going on around this band. If you didn't get to their concerts recently, there will be more opportunities to enjoy Kings of Leon in the near future. In the meantime, those who were fortunate enough to get tickets to their recent appearances were treated to a musical extravaganza that most will never forget.
Getting a copy of Live at the O2: London that's recently been released is, for many, the next best thing to seeing Kings of London live and in person. The crystal clear sound and beautiful picture of blu ray. If you don't have this exciting performance set by Kings of Leon yet, you owe it to yourself to get your hands on one of these DVDs before they're all sold out. This is a band that brings vocals, music, lyrics and more to the stage in an outstanding manner every time the start to sing. Whether you like to kick back in your seat or enjoy a few steps out of your seat, there's something for everyone and Kings of Leon moves you to find your groove and get into it.
This handsome group of family members has graced the pages of Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Rockstar and Uomo Vogue with thought-provoking interviews and hot pictures that keep the young ladies smiling. With more music on the horizon and plans for additional tours after the holidays, there's never been a better time to get to know Kings of Leon and enjoy the sounds of music this band is putting into the music industry. You'll be glad that you did.
Ticket America has your Kings of Leon Tickets with great seating choices for every upcoming concert. Getting these great Concert Tickets is a breeze with Ticket America!

Philadelphia Eagles Tickets And Seating Chart
The Philadelphia Eagles took home a win against Washington on November 29 with a final score of 27-24. It was a close game, but when the final buzzer rang, the Philadelphia Eagles were ahead three points and walked away winners. The next game is against the Atlanta Falcons and promises to be another exciting opportunity to see the Philadelphia Eagles in action.
Critics of this hardworking team may be quick to point out that the 2009 season has not been the best for the Philadelphia Eagles. They opened the preseason with a loss against the Patriots and followed it with another loss against the Colts. A third loss against the Jets made their win against the Jaguars the only one of the preseason. As the regular season began, the Philadelphia Eagles set about making a winning streak but periodic losses seemed to continue to plague the team. There's no argument from critics, fans and even the team themselves that the loss to the Saints on September 20 was a deep wound where the Philadelphia Eagles suffered through 22 points as the Saints made more than twice as many points.
Perhaps a great deal of controversy surrounds player Michael Vick but there's more to a team than one member's past and with supportive and optimistic fans along with knowledgeable staff behind them, the Philadelphia Eagles can approach each of the remaining games in the season with anticipation of many more opportunities to do what they do best: throw the ball and play some really good football. For certain, this team has some great offensive players and coaches but they need to work hard on staying away from the penalties. There are those who focus on the stat sheets when they look at the Philadelphia Eagles and others who look at the sheer force and raw power of the players as they come to the field. This season, there's a clear difference between the two.
Lincoln Financial Field is the location where all of the home games are played by the Philadelphia Eagles. It was decided that the team would benefit from a new stadium when they were purchased by Jeffrey Lurie in 1994 and plans were set about to begin building Lincoln Financial Field. Today, there are many excellent sites and fantastic amenities for every visitor who comes to this world class stadium. Whether you are planning to attend for football, entertainment or another sports venue, you will find that there is no other stadium in the world that quite compares to Lincoln Financial Field.
There's the Pepsi Gate, SCA Club & Suite Entry, West Club & Suite Entry, West Gate and Comcast Gate, each with its own particular entry that provides the best way to get to specific seating in the area. Located at the corner of Broad Street and Pattison Avenue, there are many seating options designed to suit even the most discriminating patron to Lincoln Financial Field. On the 100 Level, which is surrounded by the main concourse, there are many amenities to choose from as you enter the stadium and all during your game day festivities. Family restrooms, ATMs and enough concessions to ensure that you get what you want to eat, ranging from a famous Philly steak and cheese option to many other great tasting delights.
Those who enjoy seating that's ample and spacious can choose from the 200 Level where there are great sites and still more eateries to choose from. The 200 Level is easily accessible from several gated entries and forms nearly a complete circle around Lincoln Financial Field so that you can have the perfect seating option on virtually any side of the stadium.
Now is the perfect time to get your Philadelphia Eagles Tickets while you can still chose from some of the best seats in the house. Ticket America has your choices. Visiting Lincoln Financial Field provides you with an opportunity to experience a world class stadium and enjoy fantastic game day amenities.

Ticket America Has Your Aventura Tickets
Monday, February 15, 2010
Also known as The Kings of Bachata, K.O.B., Aventura is a Bachata music group that got its start back in 1994. The members of Aventura are Anthony "Romeo" Santos, Lenny Santos, Henry Santos Jeter and Max Santos. In additional to Bachata music, Aventura is recognized for performing R&B and Reggaeton genres of music as well. To date, Aventura has sold more than one million albums featuring hits like Obsesion, All Up 2 You, La Boda, Los Infeles, Dile Al Amor, Por Un Segundo, Un Beso, Mi Corazoncito, Ella y Yo, Su Veneno and El Perdedor.
Unlike many new bands who start out with the intention of building popularity through the ranks of the general public, Aventura made their claim to fame by being true to family and friends. Group leader Anthony Santos was born and raised in the Bronx and grew up listening to many of the popular bachateros like Teodoro Reyes, Raulin Rodriguez, Blas Duran and Joe Veras. Combining their love of the music and family and sharing their interest in performing, Aventura first began performing for local young people and their friends. This is how Aventura gained momentum as well as popularity.
Aventura released their first studio album entitled Generation Next in 1999. It featured Cuando Volveras, their only hit single from the album at first. We Broke the Rules, their second album, was released in 2002. Their hit Obsesion would take them to the top of the charts around the world. Just a year later in 2003, Love & Hate, their third album was released. A year later, in 2004, the hit Hermanita put Aventura on the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks list. In 2005, God's Project was released and a year later, K.O.B. Live.
There has been no stopping Aventura ever since then. In 2009, they released The Last which made it to the top spot on Hot Latin Tracks. In October, Aventura joined the Hispanic Heritage celebration given by President Barack Obama. Aventura performed with great entertainers such as Marc Anthony, Gloria Estafan, Jennifer Lopez, Comedian George Lopez and a host of others. One thing that has set Aventura apart from other bands is that they have created their own unique style that infuses reggaeton, hip hop and R&B into a completely original style of bachata that includes both English and Spanish in the lyrics.
The Last The Tour is definitely proof of the success that Aventura is encountering at every turn. In November alone, Aventura has performed repeatedly to sold out audiences of adoring fans who have leaped at the opportunity to experience this exciting group live and in person. Starting in Chicago on November 20, every concert from that point through November 28 has sold out completely. This is, in no small part, a testament to the unique sound and powerful lyrics that Aventura brings to the stage.
The Last The Tour will continue through February, 2010 with appearances scheduled for Toyota Center in Houston (Texas), The Joint Hard Rock Café in Las Vegas (Nevada), Jobing Arena in Glendale (Arizona), San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego (California), HP Pavillion in San Jose (California), Staples Center in Los Angeles (California), Amway Arena in Orlando (Florida), American Airlines Arena in Miami (Florida), Madison Square Garden in New York (New York), Mohegan Sun in Connecticut and rounding back to Madison Square Garden on February 1, 2010 to close out the tour.
Already, appearances for December 15, January 20 and January 21 are completely sold out at scheduled locations. If you haven't experienced the excitement of Aventura live and in person, you owe it to yourself to get your hands on some of these tickets today!

Ticket America Has Your Metallica Tickets
If you're a fan, you already know that James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo are the current members of the smash hits band Metallica. Did you know that former members included Ron McGovney, Dave Mustaine, Cliff Burton and Jason Newsted. Now you do. Metallica has been delighting audiences since 1981 when this heavy metal band first formed in Los Angeles, California. Also recognized for their skills in thrash metal, hard rock and speed metal, Metallica got its start when Ulrich posted an advertisement in his local paper.
Whether you appreciate the group most for their earlier releases that included aggressive tempos and fast instrumentals or are more of a fan of their newer releases, there's no question that Metallica has played their way to the top in the underground music community as well has hitting the top of the charts with their 1991 self-titled album. Their prior album Master of Puppets had already thrust Metallica into the limelight in 1986 and received critical acclaim as one of the most influential heavy thrash metal albums.
To date, Metallica has won nine Grammy Awards. This successful band has sold more than 100 million records around the world with the release of their album Death Magnetic. With two live albums, nine studio albums, forty-five singles, two EPs and twenty-four music videos, Metallica has shined in the star light of having five consecutive albums to make their debut at number one on Billboard 200. Tragedy struck Metallica when Burton was killed in a freak bus accident where other members of the band only sustained minor injuries. It was a devastating blow but after Burton's family gave their blessings, approximately 40 people tried out as a replacement before newcomer Newsted joined the band.
In May, 2009, Metallica was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. By this time, Newsted had left the band and been replaced by Trujillo. Both Newsted and Trujillo performed on stage and Burton's father was on hand to receive this prestigious award in his son's honor. In November, 2009, Metallica was on hand to perform at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's two-night series of concerts that were held at Madison Square Garden in New York.
True to the excitement that Metallica always creates at a concert, the band performed Sweet Jane with Lou Reed, All Day and All of the Night with Ray Davies, Iron man/Paranoid with Ozzy Osborne and outstanding renditions of For Whom the Bells Toll and Enter Sandman. HBO was on hand to record every step of the journey with Metallica for this fantastic event so you can expect the program to air on cable.
Currently, the World Magnet Tour lives up to its name in every sense of the word. Since January, Metallica has performed to sold out crowds across the United States and around the world. From the first concert, which was performed on January 12 at Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to their recent November 15 performances at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York fans everywhere have been snatching up tickets to see and hear this band perform live.
The World Magnet Tour continues through the end of 2009 with many venues already sold out for shows scheduled at Mandalay Bay in Vegas, Idaho Center in Boise, ARCO Arena in Sacramento, Honda Center in Anaheim and HP Pavilion in San Jose. With some much deserved time off for the Christmas and New Year's holidays, fans can expect Metallica to return to the tour circuit on January 19, 2010 when they'll be performing at Estadio San Marcos in Lima, Peru. From there, it's no stopping Metallica as they venture to Santiago (Chile), Porto Alegre (Brazil), Guadalajara and Monterrey (Mexico), Guatemala City (Guatemala), San Jose (Costa Rica), Panama City (Panama), Bogota (Columbia), Caracas (Venezula), San Juan (Puerto Rick), Oslo (Norway), Riga (Latvia), Vilnius (Lithuania), Moscow (Russia) and Belfast (N. Ticket America Has Your Wicked Tickets
Sunday, February 7, 2010
Here is a new musical that has taken Broadway by storm. Wicked, The Untold Story of The Witches of Oz gives new life to what has been the traditional story of the Wizard of Oz and takes a look at the witches Glenda The Good Witch and the Elphaba the Wicked Witch of the West long before they became the famed characters who met Dorothy. Academy award winner Stephen Schwartz (The Prince of Egypt and Pocahontas) wrote the lyrics and created the music for this modern day new spin on the classic story about Dorothy and her little dog Toto.
This isn't the same story hashed over though and it's being met with rave reviews from many visitors who are enjoying this musical that is based on the story by Gregory Maguire that has become a best-selling novel. The award-winning contributions don't stop there though. Tony Award winner Wayne Cliento (How to Succeed..., Aida, The Who's Tommy) is responsible for the musical staging. Tony Award winner Joe Mantello (Glengarry Glen Ross, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, Take Me Out) is the director of Wicked. Although the show is not intended for children under 4 and not recommended for children under 8, Wicked is an excellent musical that lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Wicked has already won several awards for Outstanding Musical, Outstanding Book of a Musical, Outstanding Lyrics and Outstanding Orchestrations and continues to delight audiences around the country and the world. First opened in 2003 at the San Francisco tryout, Wicked has been going strong ever since in famous theaters around the world and on national tours. Visitors to this exciting musical can listen closely and hear some references to the 1939 original version of The Wizard of Oz in the back story, tying this new story line in very effectively.
When Wicked went on tour in 2005, the first week in July, it grossed nearly $1,500,000. The Ford Center for the Performing Arts Oriental Theatre was the location for this fantastic opening and many good reviews were to follow as Wicked toured to Universal Studios (Japan), West End-London, Tokyo, Los Angeles, Stuttgart, Melbourne, San Francisco, Sydney and Osaka.
With a second national tour that started this year on June, Wicked continues to delight audiences around the world and has more performances scheduled for at least Oberhausen in June, 2010. In Sydney this year in September, many of the Melbourne cast returned and put Wicked in the running for nearly breaking the record for the highest grossing musical ever held at Capitol Theatre. The 2010 performances will begin March 17, 2010 in Oberhausen, Germany at the Metronom Theater Centro. It will be a transfer of the Stuttgart production but casting has not been decided at this point.
For those who have already had the pleasure of seeing Wicked at least once, you know that this great musical is one you can see time and again and it won't get old. There is also a cast recording of the original Broadway production. Universal Music released this original album in December, 2003 and features all of the songs performed on stage except "The Wicked Witch of the East". If you haven't had the opportunity to see Wicked live yet, your chance may come soon at one of the finest theaters in your area. You owe it to yourself to check out Wicked and see what all of the great reviews are about.
If you've been looking for a new spin on an old classic that is as timeless as baseball and apple pie, then you want to get tickets to see Wicked!

Pittsburgh Steelers Tickets And Seating Chart
You don't have to be a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers Official Fan Club or have their Official Steelers Toolbar to know that these reigning Super Bowl champions are a force to be reckoned with. Just ask the Ravens who snuck in a win against their AFC North rivals but suffered five sacks in the second half of their quarterback, Joe Flacco. This clearly demonstrates the power, the prowess and the ability of the Pittsburgh Steelers to take a man down again and again.
The month of December promises to be a busy one for the Pittsburgh Steelers both on and off the playing field. Autograph signings by Chris Hoke, Tyrone Carter and Mewelde Moore will take place on December 1, 15 and 18 respectively. December 3 is the 65 Roses Sports Auction. The Pittsburgh Steelers Toys for Tots Drive is December 6. December 7 is the Carson Scholars Fund Auction. On December 8, Pittsburgh Steelers players will host a toy drive. Dazzle & Denim for Sickle Cell will be on December 14. A book reading by Jerome Bettis will be on December 17 and Deans Women's 202 Event is scheduled for December 18.
Sunday's loss to the Ravens marks something of an unexpected losing streak for these fantastic football players. Games against the Bengals and Chiefs were also losses for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Taking a glimpse back to the start of the 2009 season for the team, there's no question that winning has been the objective and the outcome for the majority of the games whether at home or away. The team has a few days to bolster up defenses and get mindsets back on the winning track. On December 6, the Pittsburgh Steelers will take on the Raiders at home at 1 p.m. Fans, coaches, staff and members themselves are certainly hoping to see the Pittsburgh Steeler go home a winner from this game and the remainders for the season.
Sunday's game and all home games are played at Heinz Field. This horseshoe shaped stadium has an open south end with its axis the same as Point State Park. There are club lounges on the west and east sidelines and the north end zone. The first two aforementioned lounges have beverage kiosks, a video wall, specialty food stands and a three-story atrium space; all perfect to take in a football game or convert for small or large banquet gathering. The seating capacity of Heinz Field is 65,050 with 7,300 additional seating options in club areas and 1,544 seats in 129 luxury suites.
There are 24 women's, 24 men's and 8 family restrooms, 47 concession stands, 15 novelty stands and 7 team stores at Heinz Field, offering a little bit of something for everyone; even those with the most discriminating of tastes. When you come to Heinz Field to enjoy a Pittsburgh Steelers game, gone are the days of plain old football with a hotdog, unless that's how you like it. This venue has 400 televisions that are linked to the main scoreboard, 2 video walls and a scoreboard video display that expands to an enormous 96 feet by 27 feet.
The playing surface is natural grass; 2.04 acres of it to be precise and for those who want to be close enough to the action to hear the helmets crunch, the sideline is just 60 feet from the first row spectator seats. Winter Games Tickets And Seating Chart
Wednesday, January 27, 2010
The 2010 Winter Olympics will be held in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada and promises to be a fascinating collection of winter games you won't want to miss. Officially recognized as the XXI Olympic Winter Games, the dates of the 21st Winter Olympics will be held February 12 through 28, 2010. For these set of winter games, fans will be able to enjoy the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games, which have been organized by the Vancouver Organizing Committee (VANOC).
Starting with the Vancouver 2010 logo, which is called llanaaq the lnunnguaq. This colorful symbol was chosen for its unique design and meaning, which is "friend". The 2010 winter games mark the third time that the Olympics have been hosted by Canada. In both 1976 and 1988, Montreal and Calgary hosted the summer and winter games respectively. In 2010, it is estimated that more than 80 nations will participate and that roughly 5,500 athletes will be on hand to demonstrate the world's finest athletic abilities.
The list of sports and games that will be included in the 2020 winter games includes alpine skiing, biathlon, bobsleigh, cross-country skiing, curling, figure skating, freestyle skiing, ice hockey, Luge, Nordic combine, short track speed skating, skeleton, ski jumping, snowboarding and speed skating. Categorized into ice sports, Nordic events and alpine, the winter games in 2010 are already shaped up to be a fantastic series of events for those who appreciate the beauty of the Canadian countryside and these competitive games.
Those who were expecting to see mixed double curling, team alpine skiing, team bobsled, team skeleton, team luge, women's ski jumping and biathlon mixed relay will find that these games have been rejected for the 2010 winter games but may be open for consideration in the future and were given consideration for women in the Continental Cup that was held back in January this year.
The 2010 Winter Games ice hockey competitive events will be held at Canada Hockey Place. Located at 800 Griffiths Way in Vancouver, Canada Hockey Place is the home of the Vancouver Canucks. This full sized indoor arena was built in 1995 to replace the Pacific Coliseum and is the main venue destination in Vancouver. With a seating capacity of nearly 19,000, the 2010 Winter Games events being held at Canada Hockey Place promise to be interesting, to say the least.
For the most part, any Olympic event held at this venue tends to sell tickets out quickly and the expectation is that the 2010 Winter Games will be no exception. For those who want to know a little history behind the name Canada Hockey Place, this main venue for Vancouver is actually known as General Motors Place. However, because they are corporate sponsors who cannot brand sporting venues, the building has temporarily been renamed to Canada Hockey Place for the 2010 Winter Games.
Not only is ice hockey regarded by many as the favorite sport of Canada, but the Olympics has traditionally drawn out large crowds of fans who want to get a good seat and view of the action on the ice. Canada Hockey Place, located in the downtown area of Vancouver, has already served more than 10 million visitors. Whether you want options in the upper level seating area or to get close enough to the ice to see the players smile when they score a goal, the choices are available but the best seats in the house are sure to get sold out quickly.
If you're thinking about getting to Canada Hockey Place and witnessing some of these fantastic sports feats on ice, now is a great time to secure your tickets for the 2010 Winter Games.
Now is the perfect time to get your Winter Games Tickets before the best seats are gone! Many sporting events will be held at Canada Hockey Place located in the heart of downtown Vancouver.

Pearl Jam recently appeared on Austin City Limits on Saturday, November 21 but it's important to respect and understand that Pearl Jam is not just about music. Pearl Jam has activism in its blood. Recognized for belting out hits that have been classified over the years as grunge, hard rock and alternative rock, Pearl Jam exploded into mainstream music with their first album, Ten.
Although they've been criticized by some of their peers and notable publications for boycotting Ticketmaster and not making music videos, there is no question that Pearl Jam has been and continues to be an influential band that has sold over sixty million albums worldwide and appears to be here to stay. In 2009, Pearl Jam launched yet another tour that marks twenty years of great music this band has been delivering to fans around the world.
In August, this year, Pearl Jam started their current tour in Calgary, Alberta Canada at the Canada Olympic Park. Fans raised the roof as the band opened the show with the smash hit "Why Go" and delighted the audience with nearly twenty songs before the set was complete. Two encores later, there was undoubtedly not a member in the house who didn't go home with the sound of Pearl Jam in their heads and humming, whether it was closing song "Yellow Ledbetter" or one of the many other hits performed.
Since that opening concert in August, Pearl Jam has taken the world by storm, performing fantastic venues in many different locations. From London to Seattle, Toronto to San Diego, Pearl Jam has given fans in many places the opportunity to experience the satisfying performances this band creates in a live atmosphere. In November alone, Pearl Jam has given crowd-pleasing concerts in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Auckland and Christchurch.
The 2009 Pearl Jam Tour series has been featured in locations across North America, Europe and Oceania with five stops in Europe, 19 stops in North America and seven stops in Oceania for a total of 31 fabulous opportunities to see this great band in action. The Backspacer Tour is the first tour since the U.S. Tour in 2008. If you've never taken advantage of the thrilling experience that comes with seeing Pearl Jam perform live with such greats as Simon Townshend and The Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood. The Backspacer album marks the eighth album for this band that's still going strong and making music that people want to hear.

Does the next game against the Falcons mean a big deal to the New York Giants? There's no question it does.
One out of 16 games isn't such a big deal most national football league players will tell you. "The most important thing to me is our team and the word 'opportunity' and what we do is the most important thing of all," Coughlin said recently. Does that mean this team is capable of making better strides than they have been? Fans, coaches, staff and team members themselves would say definitely so. Arizona Cardinals Tickets And Seating Chart
The Arizona Cardinals are 6-3-0 currently and the 2009 season has been looking good for this fantastic team. At the start of the season in week one, it was a very close game and fans were expecting the Arizona Cardinals to take home the victory but when the final buzzer sounded, the San Francisco 49ers made their 4-point lead the final say. The winning spirit of the Arizona Cardinals wasn't dampened in the least bit by the opening game and they went on to win against the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-17.
The rest of the season has been really good to the Arizona Cardinals, to say the least. They've won games against the Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks (twice), New York Giants and the Chicago Bears. There are some great games lined up for the remainder of the season. The competitors that will face the heat of the Arizona Cardinals include other great teams such as the Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, St. Louis Rams, Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans.
Passing leader Kurt Warner has kept a nice lead this season with a fantastic 340 in the week 10 game against the Seattle Seahawks. Team leader for rushing is a shared thing between Tim Hightower and Beanie Wells. The same holds true for receiving with Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin keeping the games tight. A glimpse at the statistics for the Arizona Cardinals shows a margin for improvement, as is the case with any team but it also shows a team that's got a solid handle on quite a few things, which is great. From their turnover ratio to total first downs and total passing yards, the Arizona Cardinals are looking good.

There's no need to say a great deal about the 2009 scores so far except to say that New Orleans Saints have been nothing short of phenomenal. Admiring fans would say a whole lot more about their Saints than that though. From the start of the season with a 10 point win over Cincinnati, the New Orleans Saints have been taking no prisoners. Game 2 was a win over Houston 38-14. In game 3, Oakland got beat down on their own territory 45-7. The Saints seemed unstoppable until game 4 when Miami came to the Louisiana Superdome and snatched a win right from under the Saints with a 3 point difference.

San Francisco 49ers Tickets And Seating Chart
Whether you've been keeping up with Josh's Journey, checking out the Team Talk with Mr. Roman, tuning in to the Joe Show or just observing the tackling emphasis being put on defense, you know that the San Francisco 49ers have been keeping the momentum going this season and have given the fans much to talk about. There's plenty of emphasis being put on limiting turnovers by the coaches again this week and rightfully so with the number of losses that are peppered in with the wins this season.
Sunday promises to be an interesting game as the San Francisco 49ers take on the Green Bay Packers away at 10:00 a.m. The game comes just over a week after a win against the Chicago Bears at home, 10-6. Some would say not such a great score for a team that has been known to take no prisoners on the field at home but a win is a win in the eyes of loyal fans who are glad to see every game that the San Francisco 49ers take home as a victory.
No one takes anything away from team leading passers Shaun Hill and Alex Smith who have been bringing at least 100 yards out of their pockets for games played, win or lose. The same holds true for team leading rushing, shared between Frank Gore, Glen Coffee and Hill. Receiving yard team leaders are Vernon Davis, Josh Morgan and Michael Crabtree. Hard core fans already know the lineup for the rest of the season and much optimism remains that the San Francisco 49ers can still make a great go of this football season with some buckling down and good old fashion game playing. When the San Francisco 49ers hit the field, you can be sure that all eyes will be on this team to see what they can prove.
If you're in the vicinity or are making plans to be near Candlestick Park during the season, you simply must come to this great venue and experience the difference of a live game with the San Francisco 49ers hosting the competition for great football games. The unique shape of Candlestick Park gives excellent sites at angles other venues simply cannot achieve. Whether you want to take to the outskirts of the red area and witness the height and depth of looking down on the field or take to the lower east stands to rouse the supporters of the competition, seating options are abundant.
Located on Jamestown Avenue in San Francisco, this outdoor stadium has been the home of the San Francisco 49ers since 1971. Candlestick Park was originally built for the San Francisco Giants, who moved to a different park in 2000. Few parks offer the ambience and outdoor experience that Candlestick Park does and if you haven't had the pleasure of watching the San Francisco 49ers in action on this gorgeous field, you owe it to yourself to get there this season. As you may already know, there are plans to build a new stadium in the city of Santa Clara by 2012. This means the numbers of games the San Francisco 49ers will play in Candlestick Park are limited. Be sure to allow ample time to enjoy a tailgate party before the games.
There are many great concessions to suit virtually every taste bud imaginable from peanuts and popcorn to hard lemonade and fish tacos. For those who want the sit-down dining experience, there are more than a few fantastic restaurants in Candlestick Park as well. Tap into the premier bar experience on a whole new level and make your gaming day experience a most unforgettable one.
