When you've been at the top of your game and the best of the best, sometimes fans think it's easy to repeat past successes. For the most part, it is often easier said than done to repeat a championship year, particularly if there was a great deal of struggle. During preseason games this year, the Los Angeles Lakers took on the competition both at home and away and made a great show of putting the game in their pocket most of the time. In October, there were plenty of fan smiles to go around as the Lakers won all but three games; a close call versus Golden State early in the month, another close call against the Denver and an 80-94 loss against Dallas on the 30th.
This month the Lakers started off within a winning streak that had fans screaming for more. Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Houston, Memphis, New Orleans and Phoenix all came to the Lakers' house and were swept up in the momentum that each game brought and all took home losses against this team that seemed unbeatable. But, Denver came along and, just as it was in the preseason, the Lakers were unable to keep their winning streak going and lost to Denver big time, 79-105.
Lakers fans, coaches and the Lakers themselves are quite optimistic at this point because the season is very young and there are plenty of opportunities left ahead for the Lakers to do what they do best: win. Names like Kobe Bryant, Shannon Brown and Andrew Bynum are often at the top of the news headlines because they are great players who score mega points in the game. The fans are no less loyal to the rest of the team though because it takes a whole team to get the job done.
Regarded by many as the sports and entertainment center of the world, Staples Center is an award-winning venue that's home to five different professional sports franchises, including the Los Angeles Lakers. The recipient of the Pollstar-CIC Arena of the Year award, Staples Center is located at 1111 S. Figueroa Street in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, California. Easily accessible from many major freeways and close proximity to Nokia Theatre, Staples Center has been the home of the Los Angeles Lakers since 1999. With half of the games held at Staples Center, the Los Angeles Lakers are some of the league's leaders for home game wins.
Famous numbers of the Los Angeles Lakers that have been retired at Staples Center include those for Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Staples Center has also been the site of many fantastic entertainment events and most recently was the location for the Michael Jackson Memorial Service. For Los Angeles Lakers home games, seating options exist for all budgets and site views. Level 100 offers heart-pounding action when the Lakers hit the court. Level 200 is just as action packed and you're not subject to get any Lakers players into the seat next to you from a fly jump.
Suite Levels A, B, and C are an engagement with luxury bar none. If you're planning to attend a Los Angeles Lakers game at Staples Center, screenings, inspections and a trip through the metal detector is required before you are allowed entry to plan to arrive in plenty of time to get to your seats. There are many great concession choices on the main concourse as well as the upper concourse. Those who want the pleasure of something more substantial than hot dogs, pizza and hamburgers on the Suite levels (also premier ticket holders), can choose from San Manual Club, City View Grill and Lexus Club who offer spectacular views of the city as well as excellent dining choices to complete your Lakers game experience.
One of the most famous and beloved basketball teams, Los Angeles Lakers tickets put you right in front of the action. If you want to experience this fantastic team in action on their own court, the Staples Center

Ticket America Has Your Taylor Swift Tickets
She's got a beautiful voice that croons out lyrics that touch your heart and make you want to get out of your seat and dance and she's not even 21 yet! You've probably been listening to some of the popular hits by Taylor Swift on the radio and didn't even know it but here's a smart young lady that's taken the musical scene by storm and shows no indication of slowing down at all. If you're a fan and you've been following Swift's progress, you know that it was nothing short of unbelievable that as she accepted a musical award, Kanye West ran onto the stage and took the microphone from her to announce his enthusiasm for Beyonce. Publicity stunt or not, it certainly turned a lot more eyes and ears in the direction of Swift to see what all the fuss was about and rightfully so for this charming young lady who sings about music we can all relate to.
Hailing from the small town of Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Swift has been singing just about all of her young life. When she was just 10 years old, she started trying out at festivals, karaoke contests and just about any other event that she could that came to her town. By the time she was 14, Swift relocated her family to Nashville and signed a songwriting deal. It's no surprise that her tour is named the Fearless Tour because that's just what she is. After playing her tribute song at the American Country Music Awards, Swift walked over and introduced herself to the namesake, Tim McGraw and as they say, the rest is history.
She's been included in the game Band Hero and has a Christmas album already making great waves with music that people love to listen to not just because she has such a great voice but because she puts heart and soul into her songs with lyrics that speak to our hearts and souls.
If you're thinking about catching Taylor Swift in one of these great concerts, you should know that many of the 2010 concerts are already sold out. As a matter of fact, ALL of the concerts scheduled for the month of March, May and June are sold out. If you haven't already gotten your tickets, you may be too late for some of these locations that have no more tickets available at all. If your location is still available, you owe it to yourself to secure your tickets today because they may be gone tomorrow!
In November, Swift will appear in London, United Kingdom at Wembley Arena and Manchester, United Kingdom at Manchester Evening News. Swift will take the month of January off but return with the same fire in February to entertain fans all over Australia with appearances at Acer Arena, Newcastle Entertainment Centre, Rod Laver Arena and Adelaide Entertainment Centre. In March, Swift will take on Florida, Texas, Philadelphia, Virginia, Detroit, Ohio and Oklahoma in a whirlwind of performances sure to delight all in attendance.
For certain, she'll be performing some of the hits that have taken her to the top of the charts recently, including the six new recordings and some of the 13 original tracks. If you've been looking for a fresh sound from a soulful voice that's a beauty to watch perform, Taylor Swift brings all of these together in a show that you're sure not to forget anytime soon. Don't let her age fool you, this is a young lady who brings a playful atmosphere to the table in some of her songs but you'll hear a wise, mature voice that makes you question how this teenager can know so much about music in such a short lifetime.
