Although they were missing four offensive starters at Saturday's game, the Louisiana State University (LSU) Tigers took Louisiana Tech to school and taught them a lesson about winning with a victory 24-16. Running back Keiland Williams scored two touchdown and 116 yards to help the team win. Stevan Ridley had eight carries with 26 yards and Russell Shepard ran 24 yars in the game. Overall, it was a great game as the defense came to life the second half of the game, giving Louisiana Tech a run for it in more ways than one.
Saturday's game marks another fantastic win for LSU that's given the team a great track record so far this season. At the start of exhibition games, LSU took home victory after victory in games against Washington, Vanderbilt, UL-Lafayette, Mississippi State and Georgia. The first Gold Game was a loss for LSU on their own turf. Auburn and Tulane were follow up victories for LSU with Tulane getting shut out. But #3 ranked Alabama overtook LSU with a final score 15-24.
The overall team statistics look good for LSU with average points per game at 25.0 versus 13.7 for opponents. Top receiving this year has been by players Brandon LaFell, T. Toliver, Richard Dickson, R.J. Jackson and Charles Scott. Scott heads up the list for top rushing following Williams, Jo. Jefferson and Ridley. Overall defensive stats leaders are Kelvin Sheppard, Perry Riley, Harry Coleman, Chad Jones and Jacob Cutrera. Taking the one day at a time mentality has helped LSU to stay focused on the task at hand. Also staying focused on a strong finish has given this team the opportunity time and again to hit the field and show the competition the stuff they're made of. As the 2009 season winds down, fans, players, coaches and staff are already looking forward to a bright and promising next season.

Of course, no description of KISS is completely without some reference to their signature makeup which they stopped wearing for a spell back in 1983 but have been notably seen wearing due to popular fan demand.

Minnesota Twins Tickets And Seating Chart
Less than 150 days to opening day for the Minnesota Twins and excited fans are counting down to the 2010 season and expecting great things from the Twins. April 5 marks the opening day and players, coach and fans alike will be geared up to go. Catcher Joe Mauer recently added a third Silver Slugger Award to his mantle. Mauer won the Silver Slugger Award in 2006 and 2008. Following closely on the heels of a second straight Gold Glove Award, many consider Mauer to be one of the leading potentials for the American League MVP Award. We will soon find out as the announcement will be made on November 23.
There's been plenty of activity going on with the Twins this month and the excitement over some changes has the Twins camp looking ahead with optimism. The acquisition of shortstop J.J. Hardy in exchange for Carlos Gomez came just after the announcement of the moving sale, which was held on November 7. Fans were invited to the Metrodome and offered a variety of memorabilia and merchandise as the Twins prepared for their move to Target Field. Also related to the Target Field move, the Twins announced plans to launch "This is Twins Territory"; their 2010 advertising campaign. The first commercial will air on November 9 on local stations in Twin Cities.Although talks have been quiet between the Twins and Mauer, many fans believe that he is a cornerstone for the team and that talks will pull through to keep Mauer from heading to where more money is being offered. Many of the players are referring to Mauer as an outstanding player and hope to see him awarded the MVP Awarder later this month.
With the brand new Target Field on the horizon for the Twins, fans, team members, coaches and staff are all looking forward to breaking in the new location. The Metrodome Stadium has been home to the Minnesota Twins since it first opened in 1956. Some fans are nostalgic about the move but most are excited about the new location of Target Field which is conveniently located. When it comes to seating option, there are a few things about Target Field seating that you should be aware of to ensure that your seat selection is the most comfortable and enjoyable one for you.
Some seats are angled towards home plate more than the section. Protective netting behind the home plate covers sections 111-117, home plate terrace sections 212-218 and home plate view sections 312-318. You cannot view the left field wall from the home run porch view sections nor can the right center field wall be viewed from the grandstand. Overall, however, these custom seating arrangements offer visitors the opportunity to make the most of each ballpark experience at Target Field.
Six different gates provide easy access to the field from all sides. Choices for seating include the main level, terrace level and club level. With approximately 18,500 infield seats and a total of 40,000 seat available, there's a perfect seat at Target Field for you. More aisle and fewer seats per row than the Metrodome are just a couple of new features fans will enjoy. Transportation to Target Field by car, rail, transit, bus or bike is possible. Every level of Target Field will have heated concessions and restrooms and the roof canopy will offer protection from less than perfect weather.
A total of six different types of seating provides fans with many options. These types include typical seating, pavilion seating, champions club seating, dugout club seating and legends club seating. Less than 6 percent of the Field has bleachers type seating.
The season looks promising for the Minnesota Twins Tickets. The new Target Field will be home to the Twins as they start the 2010 season.
