Great Boxing Tickets
Wednesday, December 23, 2009
It is regarded by many as a pastime that's as appreciated as baseball and other sports. It is defined as a combat sport that put two competitors into a ring to fight a specified number of rounds to determine who is the more able component by engaging in a fight with their fists. Simple enough right? Of course there is far more technical terminology and jargon that you can avail yourself of in order to get a better understanding of boxing and the semantics that go along with a match, round or bout but the basic explanation here suffices when it comes to prize fighters and the boxing that takes place between them.
For some people, it is the mention of great boxing legends like Muhammad Ali, George Foreman and Joe Louis. The International Boxing Hall of Fame recognizes Jack Johnson, Jack Dempsey, Henry Armstrong, Archie Moore, Sugar Ray Robinson, Benny Leonard and Ali are all recognized as members. The World Boxing Hall of Fame also exists to recognize some of the sport's greatest talents.
It is believed that boxing has origins in ancient Greece but has evolved greatly since those days. Today there are several different types of boxing but the major considerations are professional boxing and amateur boxing. Both major styles share some similarities but are also primarily different from clothing to number of rounds to boxing style and terminology. There are some great boxing events in both professional and amateur boxing, especially over recent years when amateur boxing has caught the eye and interest of more people.
Professional boxing has always been an interest to people from all walks of life from the ultra celebrity to the average joe. There is no question that professional boxing has taken on a life all its own as contrasted to amateur boxing which still requires headgear. There is big money to be made in professional boxing, particularly at the heavyweight level, which seems to attract the largest crowds at some of the most fantastic venues in the world.
Few people are unaware of great boxing matches include former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson. Promoter Don King successfully marketed these matches to create mega wealth for himself and Tyson. If you enjoy this type of heart-pounding action where great boxing is the order of the day, there are many events you'll have the opportunity to witness and there's nothing like being there in person rather than watching a bout on television.
From resorts in Las Vegas to other exciting venues around the world such as Madison Square Garden, many boxing matches are scheduled in locations to provide you with not only an opportunity to see the professionals duke it out but to enjoy the surroundings with great dining experiences, casino options and much more. The bad news is that there are sometimes a limited number of tickets available for the best seats in the house and unless you move quickly, the choices will become quite limited or in a worst case scenario, tickets will be sold out.
Don't let this happen to you. If you've been keeping your eye on a particular professional boxer and you're hoping to get ticket to an upcoming match, there's no time like the present to get cracking and secure your tickets so that you can experience every gut-wrenching punch to the ribs or jaw up close and personal. Imagine the excitement you'll get from being in the audience, up close and personal and nearly feeling the sweat fly along with the punches, to hear the calls of the referee and root for your favorite boxer along with other fans in the house.
Theres no time like now to get your hands on some of the best seats in the house with Boxing Tickets from Ticket America. Just a few clicks of the mouse and your tickets are secure.

Recently there's been a lot of talk on the grapevines, blogs, word of mouth engines and such about free agents and general manager Theo Epstein held a press conference recently to speak about the hopes that are held to turn their due diligence regarding free agents into potential action that may keep players like Bay slugging away in left field after the dust settles. The Red Sox retain exclusive rights to Bay until the clock strikes midnight on Friday. After that time, all free agents can sign with any major team. Los Angeles Lakers Tickets And Seating Chart
Monday, December 14, 2009
When you've been at the top of your game and the best of the best, sometimes fans think it's easy to repeat past successes. For the most part, it is often easier said than done to repeat a championship year, particularly if there was a great deal of struggle. During preseason games this year, the Los Angeles Lakers took on the competition both at home and away and made a great show of putting the game in their pocket most of the time. In October, there were plenty of fan smiles to go around as the Lakers won all but three games; a close call versus Golden State early in the month, another close call against the Denver and an 80-94 loss against Dallas on the 30th.
This month the Lakers started off within a winning streak that had fans screaming for more. Atlanta, Oklahoma City, Houston, Memphis, New Orleans and Phoenix all came to the Lakers' house and were swept up in the momentum that each game brought and all took home losses against this team that seemed unbeatable. But, Denver came along and, just as it was in the preseason, the Lakers were unable to keep their winning streak going and lost to Denver big time, 79-105.
Lakers fans, coaches and the Lakers themselves are quite optimistic at this point because the season is very young and there are plenty of opportunities left ahead for the Lakers to do what they do best: win. Names like Kobe Bryant, Shannon Brown and Andrew Bynum are often at the top of the news headlines because they are great players who score mega points in the game. The fans are no less loyal to the rest of the team though because it takes a whole team to get the job done.
Regarded by many as the sports and entertainment center of the world, Staples Center is an award-winning venue that's home to five different professional sports franchises, including the Los Angeles Lakers. The recipient of the Pollstar-CIC Arena of the Year award, Staples Center is located at 1111 S. Figueroa Street in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, California. Easily accessible from many major freeways and close proximity to Nokia Theatre, Staples Center has been the home of the Los Angeles Lakers since 1999. With half of the games held at Staples Center, the Los Angeles Lakers are some of the league's leaders for home game wins.
Famous numbers of the Los Angeles Lakers that have been retired at Staples Center include those for Earvin "Magic" Johnson, Wilt Chamberlain and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. Staples Center has also been the site of many fantastic entertainment events and most recently was the location for the Michael Jackson Memorial Service. For Los Angeles Lakers home games, seating options exist for all budgets and site views. Level 100 offers heart-pounding action when the Lakers hit the court. Level 200 is just as action packed and you're not subject to get any Lakers players into the seat next to you from a fly jump.
Suite Levels A, B, and C are an engagement with luxury bar none. If you're planning to attend a Los Angeles Lakers game at Staples Center, screenings, inspections and a trip through the metal detector is required before you are allowed entry to plan to arrive in plenty of time to get to your seats. There are many great concession choices on the main concourse as well as the upper concourse. Those who want the pleasure of something more substantial than hot dogs, pizza and hamburgers on the Suite levels (also premier ticket holders), can choose from San Manual Club, City View Grill and Lexus Club who offer spectacular views of the city as well as excellent dining choices to complete your Lakers game experience.
One of the most famous and beloved basketball teams, Los Angeles Lakers tickets put you right in front of the action. If you want to experience this fantastic team in action on their own court, the Staples Center

When she was just 10 years old, she started trying out at festivals, karaoke contests and just about any other event that she could that came to her town. By the time she was 14, Swift relocated her family to Nashville and signed a songwriting deal. It's no surprise that her tour is named the Fearless Tour because that's just what she is. After playing her tribute song at the American Country Music Awards, Swift walked over and introduced herself to the namesake, Tim McGraw and as they say, the rest is history.
She's been included in the game Band Hero and has a Christmas album already making great waves with music that people love to listen to not just because she has such a great voice but because she puts heart and soul into her songs with lyrics that speak to our hearts and souls.

Running back Keiland Williams scored two touchdown and 116 yards to help the team win. Stevan Ridley had eight carries with 26 yards and Russell Shepard ran 24 yars in the game. Overall, it was a great game as the defense came to life the second half of the game, giving Louisiana Tech a run for it in more ways than one.

Also related to the Target Field move, the Twins announced plans to launch "This is Twins Territory"; their 2010 advertising campaign. Many of the players are referring to Mauer as an outstanding player and hope to see him awarded the MVP Awarder later this month.
With the brand new Target Field on the horizon for the Twins, fans, team members, coaches and staff are all looking forward to breaking in the new location. Some fans are nostalgic about the move but most are excited about the new location of Target Field which is conveniently located. When it comes to seating option, there are a few things about Target Field seating that you should be aware of to ensure that your seat selection is the most comfortable and enjoyable one for you.
Some seats are angled towards home plate more than the section. Protective netting behind the home plate covers sections 111-117, home plate terrace sections 212-218 and home plate view sections 312-318. You cannot view the left field wall from the home run porch view sections nor can the right center field wall be viewed from the grandstand. Overall, however, these custom seating arrangements offer visitors the opportunity to make the most of each ballpark experience at Target Field.
Six different gates provide easy access to the field from all sides. Choices for seating include the main level, terrace level and club level. With approximately 18,500 infield seats and a total of 40,000 seat available, there's a perfect seat at Target Field for you. More aisle and fewer seats per row than the Metrodome are just a couple of new features fans will enjoy. Transportation to Target Field by car, rail, transit, bus or bike is possible. Every level of Target Field will have heated concessions and restrooms and the roof canopy will offer protection from less than perfect weather.
A total of six different types of seating provides fans with many options. These types include typical seating, pavilion seating, champions club seating, dugout club seating and legends club seating. Less than 6 percent of the Field has bleachers type seating.
The season looks promising for the Minnesota Twins Tickets. The new Target Field will be home to the Twins as they start the 2010 season.

Los Angeles Dodgers Tickets And Seating Chart
Wednesday, December 2, 2009
You don't have to have standing seats for the train to Dodgertown USA to know that the Los Angeles Dodgers recently took home two Gold Gloves and turned right around and brought home two Silver Sluggers awards as well. Outfielders Andre Ethier and Matt Kemp were awarded best hitter and it was the first time that two outfielders have won this prestigious award for the Los Angeles Dodgers at one time. Kemp went on to join the ranks of Dusty Baker and Russell Martin, who picked up the double catcher awards in 1981 and 2007 respectively. If you kept up with Kemp during the 2009 season, you know that he reached career highs in 159 games with 101 RBIs, 97 runs, 52 walks and 26 homers. Kemp and Ethier were the only two outfielders to receive the National League Silver Slugger Award this year.
Those who witnessed the League Championship Series and World Series know that the Los Angeles Dodgers didn't make it quite that far this year. Fans were still able to enjoy some great ball games with the Dodgers though, including the three games in the Division Series where the Dodgers won all three games. The League Championship Series brought some close calls against the Philadelphia Phillies but in the end, the Dodgers were overpowered.
In the National League standings, the Los Angeles Dodger had 15 wins and 22 losses to finish out the season with .405 PCT and 9.5 GB. American League West Division winners with 95 wins and 67 losses, home stats were 50-31 and road stats were 45-36. Fans that don't get a glimpse of the Dodgers in spring training can catch a first look of the team on April 5, 2010 when they take to the field at Citizens Bank Park against the Philadelphia Phillies.
Located at 1000 Elysian Park Avenue in Los Angeles, California, Dodger Stadium has been home to the Los Angeles Dodgers for more than 48 years. Regarded by many fans as a landmark location you simply must see and experience for yourself to believe it, Dodger Stadium is famous for having hosted eight World Series. The Los Angeles Dodgers hold a fantastic record as well with four World Championships, nine National League Western Division crowns, eight National League pennants and two National League Wild Card berths. On average, fans pack Dodger Stadium with an average of nearly three million visits per season.
There are many fantastic seating choices when it comes to Dodger Stadium, one of the reasons it has earned the reputation for being one of the country's landmark locations. Whether you want to be near the Stadium Club or visitors bullpen, the choices are yours and they are abundant. If you love the feel of a large, roaring crowd cheering on your favorite team alongside a large or small group of friends, Dodger Stadium is the perfect location.
Loyal fans already know the code of conduct for the stadium, but for those who don't, before you to go, you should know that there is no tailgating on the property at any time, fans must not go onto the field, throw objects or otherwise interfere with the game. Violation of these terms is grounds for removal from the stadium grounds. That said, the fan code of conduct means you can be expected to be treated a certain way when you visit Dodge Stadium as well, including getting the perfect seating arrangements for virtually any budget.
So, if you're looking ahead to the 2010 season and already anticipating seeing the Los Angeles Dodgers take on the competition in this beautiful stadium, there's no time like the present to get your tickets lined up and be ready for every home game that you're interested.
You owe it to yourself to get your hands on the best seats for the upcoming Los Angeles Dodgers tickets . Theres no question that the beautiful Dodger Stadium delivers all the excitement and spectacular sites you expect at a ballgame.

Philadelphia Phillies Tickets And Seating Chart
Saturday, November 28, 2009
When it comes to National League Championships, the Philadelphia Phillies are no strangers. More than just team champs, the Philadelphia Phillies second basement Chase Utley recently won the National League Silver Slugger Award for the fourth time. Each of the last four seasons since 2009, Utley, 30, has taken home this much-deserved recognition. Utley is in line behind Ryne Sandberg, who took home the award five years in a row, and Mike Schmidt who won it a total of six times (not consecutively). Utley's 2009 runs, on-base percentage, slugging percent and extra-base hits put him ahead as leader of the pack for all National League second basemen.
Most won't argue that the Philadelphia Phillies gave the 2009 season more than a good run and although fans were disappointed that they didn't take the world series, it was the kind of ball playing that made each swing of the bat a pleasure to watch. The Philadelphia Phillies opened the World Series against the Yankees and nearly shut the competition out on October 28, 6 to 1. Game 2 was not as tight and the Yankees slipped by the Phillies a couple of times to walk away with a win, 3 to 1 Yankees.
League Championship Series games found the Philadelphia Phillies winning the series 4 to 1 during the month of October with an 11 to 0 shutout against LAD on October 18. If you were able to get to any of these great games in person, it was nothing short of fabulous to see this team eat up the competition time and time again with only one loss in Game 2. After some much deserved rest and relaxation, fans can expect to see the Philadelphia Phillies back in action for Spring Training in Clearwater, Florida starting in March. Those who want to see the team in the on deck series in Philadelphia will have to wait until April 2.
Citizens Bank Park is the home of the Philadelphia Phillies and this venue is nothing short of amazing. Whether you're looking for dazzling views, spectacular amenities, an intimate array of features or just a ballpark experience that takes your breath away, getting to Citizens Bank Park is a must for one or more of the great home games featuring the Philadelphia Phillies. Located at One Citizens Bank Way in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, gates open 1-1/2 hours prior to the start of the games held on Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday games are available for seating 2 hours prior and if you're a diehard fan who wants to enter the park sooner, use the left field gate and get in 2-1/2 hours before the game starts.
Seating choices for Citizens Bank Park offer options to suit every taste and budget type. Not everyone wants the prime experience of the Diamond Club or Hall of Fame Club premium seating but these options bar none. On field level, infield, baseline and outfield seating provides reasonably priced action-packed views you're sure to appreciate. The club level offers a wide variety of choices for those who want action that include spectacular views and easy access to concessions. This level includes two pavilion levels, two pavilion deck levels, arcade and scoreboard porch. The terrace level is very economically priced with two levels and two deck levels of seating options. Ashburn Alley is the very least expensive seating option for those who appreciate the height and overall view obtainable from the rooftop bleachers.
Citizens Bank Park offers exciting ballpark adventure for fans of all ages, from the Phanatic Shoe Slide for children ages 4 to 9 to guests of all ages running the bases to Sunday Starting Nine which allows randomly selected children under 14 to stand on the field with the starting nine Phillies during the National Anthem.
Now is a great time to get your Philadelphia Phillies Tickets for the 2010 season. All of the home games will be played at the fantastic Citizens Bank Park

Ticket America Has Your Bruce Springsteen Concert Tickets
The year 1949 was a great year when it comes to the birth of a superstar. It was the year that Bruce Frederick Joseph Springsteen, affectionately known to fans around the world as "The Boss" was born. A native of New Jersey, Springsteen has been thrilling crowds around the world since 1972 with his signature sound of songs with heartland rock.
Widely appreciated for his poetic lyrics and Americana tunes that are infused with sentiments about New Jersey and his particular brand of rock, there are very few people who haven't heard of The Boss. Often, just the first few bars of one of his songs and you find yourself singing along with the lyrics because his feel good music reminds you of how great it is to be an American. Springsteen has performed with the E Street Band, Miami Horns, Seeger Sessions Band and Steel Mill and if you appreciate nothing else about Springsteen, you know that he puts heart and soul into his songs.
Strong expressions run across his face in some of the intense ballads he performs and you feel the rhythm that makes you get up and dance in his party rock-style tunes and rousing anthems. He draws us into deeply emotional stories in song form and we relate because the tunes could easily have been written about us. His albums Born in the U.S.A. and Born to Run are the prime examples of how well Springsteen takes the American struggle of daily life and puts it to music in a grandiose style that you can't help but appreciate. Born in the U.S.A. made Springsteen one of the most popular artists of the 80's. With an Academy Award, 19 Grammy Awards and 2 Golden Globes, Springsteen has sold more than 195 million records around the world.
Continuing in the tradition that exhibits the passion and love for music that is a trademark, Springsteen and the E Street Band took to the road in March this year with an opening concert at the Convention Center in Springsteen's hometown of Asbury Park, New Jersey. For hours, fans were delighted as Springsteen and the band blazed out more than 21 songs. Audiences across the country and around the world have been enjoying outstanding performances in venues since then and the excitement continues.
With just a few more opportunities that still like ahead for this tour, if you haven't had the chance to witness Springsteen in action, you simply must get your hands on some of these tickets before they are all gone. It's the last leg of the tour but as the saying goes, often they save the best for last. If you're thinking about getting in on the best of the Springsteen tour for 2009, you're in luck because this award winning singer can still be seen at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; the Sommett Center in Nashville, Tennessee; the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Maryland and the HSBC Arena in Buffalo, New York is the last planned stop for the tour.
If you've ever had the chance to see Springsteen performing live, you know there's nothing that compares to witnessing this awesome performer. The E Street Band makes you get up and dance because you simply can't resist the heart pounding percussions and guitars. Springsteen is famous for grabbing the harmonica, telecaster and guitar and belting out the music you've come to love him for. If you haven't experienced this music live and in person, the opportunities are calling now and there's no time like the present to get your tickets and check out Springsteen for yourself.
Missing The Boss? There are still a few venues left on the 2009 tour. Ticket America has Bruce Springsteen venues. We have some of the best Concert Tickets available.

Ticket America Has Your U2 Concert Tickets
Tuesday, November 24, 2009
It's the concert people all over the world have been waiting for, the U2 350 Tour in 2010. The excitement is building in the air and if you've attended a U2 concert before, you know that this band is worth every cent you spend to get in on the live music, action and entertainment this Dublin band brings to the stage. If you haven't been to a U2 concert, there's nothing that compares to being in the audience and getting the acoustics feeds and witnessing the spectacular performances as Bono belts out some of your favorite tunes live, up close and in person.
Bono, Adam Clayton, The Edge and Larry Mullen Jr. are true performers when it comes to live stage events like the 360 tour that's already begun. Tickets began going on sale in mid-March for the European shows and quickly sold out in Milan, Amsterdam and Gothenburg. "We don't take anything for granted," Bono said about the sold out shows that were scheduled for Croke Parke in Dublin, "It's a very big deal for us to sell out our hometown at such speed..."
As you may already know, U2 has been making musical since forming their band during secondary school back in 1976 when they were still teenagers. Although they had no formal musical proficiency at the time, it didn't take long before the foursome had struck a deal with Island Records and released their first album. In less than 10 years, U2 begun being recognized as one of the world's top groups, particularly in live performances. With 12 studio albums under their belts and more than 145 million records sold, U2 has won more Grammy awards than any other band with 22 to their credit. Inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2005 and making Rolling Stone's list of 100 greatest artists of all time gives U2 a repertoire most can't touch.
The 360 Tour began on June 30, 2009, is supported by the band's album No Line on the Horizon and is scheduled to run through October 3, 2010. That's plenty of time to get to one of these great events scheduled for stadiums around the world. The name selection for this tour is in sync with 360 degree audience configurations around the staging. Innovatively thinking, the banded decided to stream their performance at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California over YouTube which set a new single headlined attendance record in the U.S. If this is any indication of the great success this tour will be, you'll want to get your tickets before they're all sold out!
The design of architect Mark Fisher and designer Willie Williams may be setting the standard for concerts to come by many with their 360 degree configuration. The stage is in the center of the stadium and has a large 4-legged steel structure that houses the speaker system. The video screens are suspended above the stage in a cylindrical manner. Surrounding the stage is a circular ramp that has rotating bridges connecting it to the stage. General admission tickets will give fans the opportunity to get seats on the outside of the ramp along with the inside area between the ramp and the stage, close enough to feel the sweat fly!
Because of this 360-degree centered location, there is no front or back to the stage and the fans will have seating options around all sides of the stage. This progressive thinking allows for up to 20 percent more seating capacity. With a set list that includes such hits as "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For", "Breathe", "The Unforgettable Fire", "City of Blinding Lights", and "Vertigo", fans will enjoy nearly 25 songs at this jam packed musical extravaganza.
Ticket America has your U2 360 Tour on sale now. Get them before theyre all sold out! The 360 Tour promises to be one of the most sensational events this band has ever given and getting great Concert Tickets like these is a breeze with Ticket America!
